Offer Description
The aim of the project (ANR LEDVAN) is to study the use of SrVO (strontium vanadate) materials for the development of new LEDs. The tasks entrusted to us will include: carrying out and interpreting tomographic atom probe analyses, including sample preparation. Perform and interpret cathodoluminescence analyses.
- Sample preparation for atom probe tomography analysis by SEM/FIB
- Analysis of samples by atom probe tomography.
- Analysis and interpretation of atom probe tomography data
- Conduct in situ cathodoluminescence experiments in a SEM and analyze results.
- Presentation of results (internally, to project partners, at conferences).
- Writing of reports and journal articles.
The GPM (Groupe de Physique des Matériaux, UMR CNRS 6634) is structured into 5 departments: Metallurgy-Microstructure-Mechanics, Scientific Instrumentation, Functional Materials and Nanostructures, Disordered Systems-Polymers and Thematic Openings and Innovations. It has a staff of 140, including 60 lecturers/researchers, 30 technical staff and 50 PhD students/postdoctoral fellows/trainees. The laboratory is located on the Rouen Normandy Science and Engineering Campus (Saint Etienne du Rouvray), within the Université de Rouen Normandie and INSA Rouen Normandie (7000m2).
The researcher recruited will be attached to the Functional Materials and Nanostructures department within the nanomaterials for optics research team (5 researchers, 2 IR, 2 PhD students). This team conducts research into the correlation of atomic-scale structure and physical properties on semiconductor or oxide materials with remarkable electronic or optical properties.
