Publishes a job advertisement for

- An associate with associate title for the position of assistant in the area of social sciences, academic field of law in the academic Branch of International law for the teaching course in International Public Law, for a temporary full-time position. 

CONDITIONS: Applicants must fulfil the conditions prescribed by the Higher Education Act and Scientific Activity (National Gazette, further referred to as Narodne novine ), no. 119/2022) and Rulebook on the Criteria for Employing Assistants for the Faculty of Law, University of Split (published on Faculty website).

Along with the personally signed application for the competition applicants are required to submit: proof of fulfilling conditions, CV (Europass CV), photocopy of academic qualifications, a certificate from the competent court that no criminal proceedings are pending against the applicant (not older than 30 days), certified statement related to article 3 in the Rulebook on the Criteria for Employing Assistants (form can be accessed on Faculty web pages link entitled (Dokumenti/Pravilnici/Propisi), proof of citizenship or citizenship of another EU member state and for EU citizens proof of knowledge of Croatian.

Candidates who on the basis of specially prescribed provisions are entitled to positive discrimination in employment must submit necessary documentation as stipulated by these special regulations. Such candidates are advantaged in acquiring employment in relation to other candidates only under equal conditions.

Applicants using their positive discrimination employment rights pursuant to art. 102 and 103 of the Croatian War Veterans and Family members Act (Narodne novine, no. 121/2017, 98/2019 84/2021 and 156/23), only have preference over other candidates under equal conditions and must submit, apart from proof of fulfilling the required conditions, all necessary proof as stated art. 103, section 1 available on the link for the Ministry of Croatian War Veterans https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposlavanje-843/843.

By submitting their application, candidates expressly consent that the Faculty of Law, University of Split as body in charge of personal data may collect, use and further process, or for the purposes of carrying out employment proceedings pursuant to articles 13 and 14. General Regulations on Data Protection (EU) 2016/679 European Parliament and Council of 27 April 2016 on protection of individuals in relation to processing personal data and free movement of such data and placing out of power Directive 95/46/EC (General Regulation on Personal Data Protection), SL EU L119 and Implementation of Regulation on Personal Data Protection Act Protection (National Gazette no. 42/2018).

Applications and necessary documentation must be submitted to the Faculty of Law’s Administration electronically via e-mail dekanat@pravst.hr, within 30 days of the last announcement of the call for applications.

Incomplete and late applications will not be considered.

Persons of all genders may apply. Participants in the competition procedure will be informed about the competition results within the legal deadline, via the Faculty's website.
