Offer Description
All candidates for the competition must meet the general requirements prescribed by the Labor Act (Official Gazette No. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22, 46/23 and 64/23).
In addition to the criteria prescribed in Articles 39 and 44 of the Higher Education and Scientific Activity Act (Official Gazette No. 119/22), candidates for the competition are required to meet the criteria prescribed in Articles 123 and 130 of the Statute of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek, Articles 47 and 52 of the Statute of the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek (consolidated text), and Articles 25 and 26 of the Regulations on the implementation of the election/re-election procedure for scientific-teaching, artistic-teaching, teaching, associate and professional positions at the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University in Osijek (consolidated text).
Candidates for the Competition under point 1 are required to submit documentation according to Form No. 4 – Application for the selection of the associate assistant position

Candidates for the competition must attach documentation in electronic form in PDF format to their application.
For candidates who are foreign citizens, it is necessary to submit proof of knowledge of the Croatian language (and Latin script) in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (advanced knowledge (C2)).
Applications for the Competition with documentation must be submitted within thirty (30) days from the date of publication of the Competition in the "Official Gazette" in electronic form to the address: aukos@aukos.hr with the indication "Application for the competition - position applied for"
For all candidates for the competition who hold a foreign higher education qualification, it is necessary to submit proof of the completed procedure for the recognition of the foreign higher education qualification.
Persons of both sexes may apply for the competition under equal conditions.
Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.
Only persons who submit a timely and complete application and meet the formal requirements of the public competition will be considered candidates for the competition.
A complete application is considered an application that contains all the information and attachments specified in this competition and that is personally signed by the candidate who submitted the application for the public competition.
Candidates who, based on special regulations – the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families (“Official Gazette” No. 121/17, 98/19, 84/21 and 156/23), Article 48 of the Act on Civilian Victims of Homeland War (“Official Gazette” No. 84/21) and Article 48.f. of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Invalids (Official Gazette No. 33/92, 57/92, 77/92, 27/93, 58/93, 2/94, 76/94, 108/95, 108/96, 82/01, 103/03, 148/13 and 98/19), Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette No. 157/13, 152/14, 39/18 and 32/20) call for the right to priority in employment, they are obliged to refer to this right in their application for the competition and to attach all evidence prescribed by special regulations for the exercise of this right. The aforementioned candidates have priority in employment compared to other applicants, only under equal conditions. For candidates who, in their application for the competition, invoke the right to priority in employment pursuant to the Act on Croatian Veterans of Homeland War and Members of Their Families (“Official Gazette” No. 121/17., 98/19., 84/21. and 156/23.) and the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War (“Official Gazette” No. 84/21.), the list of evidence required to exercise this right is available at the link of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans: https://branitelji.gov.hr/zaposljavanje-843/843.
Candidates who invoke the right to priority in employment pursuant to Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (“Official Gazette” No. 157/13., 152/14., 39/18. and 32/20.) are required to invoke this right in their application for the competition and submit all evidence of meeting the required conditions, as well as proof of disability.
The Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek will publish the Decision on the selection of employees on the website http://www.uaos.unios.hr/ no later than eight (8) days from the date of adoption and with the prior consent of the selected candidate's professional CV.
All candidates of the Competition will be notified of the results of the Competition no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of its completion.
The Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek reserves the right to notify all registered candidates by e-mail.
By applying for the competition, each candidate gives consent to all his/her personal data contained in the competition documentation being collected and processed for the purpose of implementing the competition in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). Each candidate for the competition is obliged to submit a signed and completed Form 9 (CONSENT) which is published on the website of the Academy of Arts and Culture within the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek http://www.uaos.unios.hr/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Obrazac-br.-9.-Priv….
Without a duly completed and signed Consent Form accompanying the Competition application, the application will be considered incomplete and will be rejected.
