Offer Description
Randomized clinical trials are the gold standard for evaluating medical devices and treatments, but they often fail to capture the complexity and diversity of real-world populations, limiting their broader applicability. This initiative aims to address these limitations by integrating data and enhancing information to improve representativeness in clinical studies. It will analyze participant composition to identify representation imbalances and develop solutions to harmonize data from various sources, filling informational gaps. To validate studies for underrepresented groups, new data modeling methods will be explored to simulate alternative scenarios and assess the impact of specific population characteristics. Emphasis will be placed on transparency and clarity to support a critical understanding of inclusion criteria in trials.
